Music Themed Updates Y'all

Blackmarket's debut album The Elephant In The Room was released Monday 10th November, and it's a bit of a corker!

The mighty Canadian buzz-band du jour Ten Kens have released a free download in celebration of the forthcoming single 'Spanish Fly'... which can be seen here: http://www.indian.co.uk/myspace/spanish_fly/

and they are due to be supporting A Place To Bury Strangers (loud, LOUD band) over November-December

Another One Little Indian gem to keep your peepers on are Frightened Rabbit, who I had the joy of catching in support of Camera Obscura at London's 229. With some beautiful songsmithery and gorgeously rugged vocals it was a barrage of passion soaked delivery during their most successful London gig to date. It was particularly daring for lead singer Scott Hutchison to take acoustic to a whole new level as he ditched the microphone and amps for a hushed interlude song on dying love that eventually quelled the twitterings of his slightly oblivious audience (shame on them!).

Full review of their headlining gig at Hoxton Bar and Grill to look forward to, but for now pay attention to their masterful way with words if you so please: "fucking someone to keep yourself warm". Priceless.

Review of their album to follow
